Friday, December 17th, the Sophomores enjoyed a free lunch by Pancheros in the HS Cafeteria. A special THANK YOU to Pancheros and Paul McCarthy for the awesome incentive to raise money for a worthy cause! Way to Go Raider Nation!

Penny Wars 2010!
Congrats to all WHS Participants in the annual Penny Wars Competition! This year, the WHS Student Council raised over $800 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Iowa. Students encouraged each class of the High School to collect pennies for themselves and lower score totals for other grades by adding silver coins and dollar bills to their collections. It was a classic battle as the Teachers slipped into an early lead by Day 2 and then the Sophomore Class brought a Raider Storm and won by a landslide $20 victory of the Junior Class.
